Surrey Counterbalance Forklift Training - Demand is always high for our popular Counterbalance Forklift Truck Training courses. A Counterbalance forklift refers to a forklift with a weight which counters the balance, allowing the load's weight to be spread equally across the forklift arms. Counterbalance forklifts are made so the weight on the lift is counterbalanced by the weight behind the centre of gravity. The load is projected out from the equipment's front so it is visible to the driver of the forklift. This kind of forklift truck should only be used on stable, level ground or on a prepared surface.
Training is needed for forklift drivers to understand the proper method to spread the load equally across the arms of the forklift. Trainees will be taught how to lower and raise the load vertically and how to tilt the mast of the forklift both backwards and forwards between 5 and 15 degrees. People training will learn the RTITB standards needed for safe forklift operation. Trainees will also become familiar with the kinds of attachments for the arms of the forklift.
Types of Counterbalance Forklifts:
Walkie Pallet Trucks
Walkie Pallet Truck is a counterbalance forklift suitable for getting into areas which are cramped and small. This lift is really maneuverable and capable of accessing virtually whichever tight spot.

Rider Pallet Trucks are designed to be ridden. These riding lifts are great for dock loading and unloading.
